Star Trek: The Lost Era ist eine Romanreihe. Sie ist bisher noch nicht auf deutsch erschienen.
Die Geschichten drehen sich um die Zeit zwischen dem Verschwinden von Kirk in Star Trek: Treffen der Generationen und dem Beginn der Serie Star Trek: Die nächste Generation. Viele bekannte Personen und Raumschiffe tauchen auf: So die USS Excelsior, die Enterprise-B, die Enterprise-C, Captain Hikaru Sulu, Pavel Chekov, Janice Rand, Christine Chapel, Tuvok u.a.
Innerhalb der Lost Era-Reihe bilden die Romane 8-10 den so genannten Terok Nor-Zyklus. Wie der Name schon andeutet wird hier die, über ein halbes Jahrhundert andauernde Besetzung Bajors geschildert.
