Vom Umschlagtext:

Paul's entertaining and page-turning book will keep you up all night, enjoying the roller-coaster ride of his mad and magic life from childhood in San Francisco (!), the color of the Haight-Ashbury in the late 60's, his travels back and forth across the pond, playing drums, designing iconic posters and album covers, ending up in LA where he didn't want to be because his English girlfriend he met at the Supertramp Moving to America party in London took the car in the middle of the night with all his stuff in it an hared down to LA from San Francisco to make her way there as an artist, leaving Paul to chase after her. As a result of contracts she made within days, Paul met and befriended the top airbrush illustrators in the world and got stuck into illustration whilst living in the nifty house where Richie Valens recorded „La Bamba“.

You will also learn how Paul's dear friend, Gary Brooker, who wrote and sang that classic songs, „Whiter Shade of Pale“ has influenced Paul's life over and over again without ever meaning to. This is a tale of true serendipity and fate, with more than a pinch of destiny thrown in to spice it up.
