The familiy file can be made up following the instructions in the file README-family.txt. You can find this text file in your Python directory, e.g.: <code>C:\Python26\pywikipedia\families</code>. Otherwise just adapt an existing family-file. The reason for error "Received incomplete XML data." maybe the -hint: parameter. I've never worked with it and haven't found how to use it. [[:m:Interwiki.py#Using_hints|Here]] it sounds like there are no existing interwiki links necessary, but I'm afraid that's an illusion. On MA I always made the pages up to have at least on iwl if possible and then let the bot work over.
